It is interesting that the Guhyagarbha was also accepted by the 12th century Sa skya master Grags pa rgyal mtshan (1147-1216) as one of only six Rnying ma scriptures included in his tantra catalogue, and Chos rgyal 'Phags pa's (1235-1280) catalogue of 1273 followed likewise. The other rNying ma tantras included by Grags pa rgyal mtshan were three Māyājāla texts, the Phur pa rtsa ba'i dum bu, and the Thabs kyi zhags pa (a full version of which survives in the Dunhuang ms. IOLTibJ321). Grags pa rgyal mtshan's tantra list was a source for the first Kanjur, and it is interesting that Kanur tantra lists generally include these six Rnying ma texts.
